K Chandrasekhara Rao, it is like a devil-and-the-deep sea situation.
He cannot call off the agitation, nor can he give up his life for the sake of
Telangana. With the movement being completely hijacked by the student
organisations, the TRS leadership is in a complete mess. At the emergency
politburo meeting held at the Telangana Bhavan on Saturday evening, the TRS
leaders expressed helplessness over the situation and felt that the only way to
save KCR’s life is to convince the students’ leaders and joint action committee
of employees.
However, the situation is not that easy, unless the government takes a positive
decision. The only way out at present is to bring pressure on the Rosaiah
government to adopt a resolution in the assembly in support of Telangana state.
Since all the political parties are more or less agreeing for the same, it might
not be difficult to pass the resolution. Rest is left for thecentre.
