Did the Lok Satta Party enter into any
secret pact with the Congress before the elections to split the
anti-establishment vote?
The answer is yes, according to the Telugu Desam Party leaders. They
are suspecting that Lok Satta president Jayaprakash Narayan, who was
closely associated with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, might have
indirectly helped the Congress by fielding his party candidates
inmajority of constituencies, where it had no standing at all.
“During his campaing, JP targeted mostly the TDP schemes and not the
corrupt Congress government. Even now, he is finding fault with the
TDP’s doubts over electronic voting machines and supporting the
Congress. It shows clearly that JP had an understanding with the
Congress,” they said.
The TDP leaders seem to have gone really mad or crazy. It is
betterthey focus on regaining their image, rather than finding lame
excuses.
